Wordo's History File
===========================================================================
=== v2.31 ===
- Release Date: November 4, 1996!
- Cleaned up the code for release with 3.xx/4.xx CNet Amiga versions!
- The Game and Docs file now use smart paths, so you needn't have to
edit anything to get this game up and running.
- The "access" variable was removed. Now, user ID # 1, as well as any
user with the same Access Group as ID # 1, can use the Maintenance
features of the game.
- Even newer error handling was put in place, as well as a newer carrier
check routine.
=== v2.3 ===
- Release Date: October 7, 1995!
- Added my newer error checking routines to the program as well.
- Killed the more prompt in a few places using the \@4 command.
- Removed Author Info from Docs file(very, very dated!)
- Added in an "access" variable to make enabling the Maintenance easier.
- Added usage of the CHANGEWHERE command in both the DOC and GAME file.
- Just moved the following text from the main command file to here:
Wordo2.2!

Written by: David M. Weeks
June 10 - August 6, 1991!!
Written using Amiga C-Net v1.9a
Modified for Amiga C-Net v2.0, December 14, 1991
Made More User-Friendly, September, 1992
Made CNet v2.60/R1 MCI Compatible, February, 1993
=== v2.2 ===
- This version simply corrects the couple MCI commands that WOULDN'T
convert to 2.60/R1 format, even AFTER the UP250 program was used.
=== v2.1 ===
- This version took care of a big SetUp problem. It seems I was using
the "pfiles/" extension, instead of the "pfiles:" norm. This caused
many initial setup problems for many users. This version was written
to place the paths at the beginning of the file, and are stated only
once, instead of wherever I happened to open a file in the game.
- A small bug I noticed occurred when the hint option was enabled and
you earned your first Pip. This bug was squashed beyond recognition!
- The game file and the title picture seemed to have some of it's data
corrupted. I'm not sure if these files were corrupted in a previous
release, but I went through with a fine tooth comb and removed and
replaced several altered sections of code. Seems to work fine now.
=== v2.0 ===
- This version was the first version to incorporate the extensive
documentative Arexx instruction file.
- MCI's were converted to the new format C-Net used at the time.
=== v1.0 ===
- First public release version of the game.
- Documentation for this version was VERY sparse, and was one reason
this game didn't get off the ground too much.
